“Never complain. I believe that one who complains has a flaw in their faith as, ultimately, they are complaining about what G-d gave them, and everything G-d does is for the good.”

How Amit lived
Amit, the son of Avishai and Einat, brother to Gilad, Yonatan, Tamar, and Yael, and husband to Gal, served as a lead frontline gunner and navigator in the elite Maglan Unit and excelled in his training. On the morning of Simchat Torah, he was urgently called to base, and despite the roads being filled with terrorists, he set out immediately. While driving on Route 34, he encountered terrorists and chose to drive straight toward them under fire, forcing them off the road and bringing their killing spree to an end. Six months after his death, his son Oz was born. He was 21 years old when he fell.
