Staff Sgt. Bar Rozenshtein z”l

Bar, son of Pnina and Yossi, brother to Rotem and Shaked, served as radio operator to the company commander in the 51st Battalion, Golani Brigade. He was a quiet, intelligent young man with wide interests, he formed deep friendships and shared a close bond with his siblings, parents, and partner, Noa. On Simchat Torah, after his vehicle was struck by an RPG and ambushed, he insisted on continuing toward Kissufim to defend civilians: “If not us, then who?” he said. He acted with composure and determination and fell in brave combat. He was 20 years old when he fell.
