Sgt. First Class Hillel Diener z”l

Hillel, son of Teresa and Ron, brother to Tzuria, Elyashiv, Renana, Naveh, Noga, and Maor, was married to Zehava. He grew up in Talmon and served in the reserves with the Kfir Brigade. He believed every person is made of many parts and found a way to love each one as they are. He felt a strong sense of mission in life and in his military service, putting his whole heart into everything. He deeply loved Torah, the people, and the land. On return from an anti-terror mission in Beit Hanoun, an explosive device was detonated. Hillel was killed in the blast. He was 21 years old when he fell.
