Sgt. Ido Ovadia z”l

Ido, eldest son of Yifat Lota and Ofer, brother to Yaara and Amit, served as a combat soldier in the Tzabar Battalion of the Givati Brigade and as an APC commander. He was known as a sociable guy with friends everywhere, he never complained and had endless patience. Driven by camaraderie, he always acted with modesty, seriousness, and immense motivation, even when it was hard. He loved to play tennis and basketball and dreamed of being a Formula 1 driver. He fell in Gaza with 10 comrades when the APC he was in was hit by an anti-tank missile. He was 19 years old when he fell.
